With a recent $225M Series A funding led by Paradigm, they are on a mission to help crypto revolutionize the world. Composed of systems engineers and community builders, they are now expanding their team to accelerate their growth and impact in the blockchain space.
As the APAC Business Development Manager, you will be the first hire focused on strategic market development in the APAC region. You’ll own the early and middle stages of the business development process, actively optimizing and executing inbound/outbound lead strategies. Your work will be instrumental in identifying potential opportunities across the industry and building strong relationships with projects looking to build on this innovative blockchain platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, evaluate, and triage relationships with inbound leads as the first point of contact
- Optimize processes and strategies for lead focus, management, and generation
- Conduct strategic outbound activities, initiating touchpoints with important prospects
- Source, identify, and proactively pursue promising opportunities
- Cultivate expertise in specific segments to grow into owning strategy for respective categories
- Work cross-functionally to support internal teams on BD functions
- Support and drive complex deal contracts and negotiations
- Build and shape the landscape of the blockchain’s future ecosystem across apps and infrastructure
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in business development or similar GTM role in the web3 industry
- Excellent communication skills, familiar with web3 communication styles
- Deep understanding of crypto concepts, technical overviews, culture, and industry segments
- Strong networking abilities with key players in the industry
- Strategic thinking and efficient assessment of opportunities
- Autonomous, self-motivated, and proactive in pursuing opportunities
- Experience managing complex projects across internal and external stakeholders is a plus
- Strong existing relationships in the industry and knowledge of different blockchain ecosystem sectors are advantageous
